Learning from hindsight gives you the insight to trust your foresight.
Most of us were not taught how to work with the unseen, the unfamiliar, the unexpected, the nonsensical, and the unknown (Uranus). We are so heavily involved in the material world (Taurus) that we are plagued by doubts of our intuition, our spiritual experiences, or alternative medicines and therapies. If we can’t access it with our five senses, as the taurus archetype is so comfortable with, then how can we trust it? Perhaps we need to approach these concepts differently.
First and foremost, allow the skepticism while simultaneously keeping an open mind. Then, learn with a sense of detachment to the outcome. Give yourself the time to experience and observe for yourself.
This is in large part how I have learned astrology and tarot. I have taken the same approach to working with homeopathic remedies and even detox protocols.
When I’m unsure or perhaps unyielding to what the cards, the forecasts, or the remedy is trying to teach me, I detach and let the days/weeks/months play out. Then I go back, even on a bad day, and laugh a bit to myself because the message was seemingly obvious. Or maybe I had a hunch already of what could happen.
So I found that when I make it a practice to reflect on the past (hindsight) and get an understanding of the wisdom (insight), I build up my sense of trust in myself and a deeper knowing (foresight) over time. Because I now understand that I am not separate from these tools. They are reflections of myself, and I am working in direct relationship with them.
